Today I thought I would tell you all about my home away from home.  The Dawg House is Country Music Saloon but it doesn't just play country it plays whatever the guests want to hear except Rap and Metal.  It also houses Moonlight Serenade.  This is happens on Sunday night.  Couples or even just friends all gather on this part of the Sim to listen to great music with the Awesome DJ ColoradoCowboy Manen.  He is the owner of this club as well as one of the best DJ's in Second Life.  The Moonlight side of The Dawg House also houses Moonlight Weddings.

Lets start with The Dawg House.  We have wonderful DJ's and hosts and they are hiring as we speak.  The Owner has made this club fun and family like.  There aren't contests because the owners want people to come and enjoy the music and family and friends and not because they are being paid to do so.  They take pride in the beautiful grounds and the club its self.  Alot of us have been hanging together for several years but new people are always welcome and encouraged.  The DJ's take requests and dedications.  There is laughter and fun going on most times.

The Moonlight Serenade Weddings provided wedding service in Second Life community since 2007, It has helped more than 900 satisfied couples find the peace of mind they require for their big event.

I have seen many of the weddings that this venue has provided and they are just so elegant and beautiful not to mention less lag than most venues and a wonderful officiant in ColoradoCowboy (CC) Manen.

Spring Has Sprung

SPRING HAS SPRUNG

I just came in from doing errands outside and it is SPRING.!! FINALLY.  So, I figured I would do a blog about spring.  Spring is my favorite season of all four because its not too cold and not too hot for the most part its just right.  The flowers are blooming, the birds are chirping and the sun is shining, what more could a girl ask for?

Thinking of spring in Second Life is pretty much the same expect that you dont have to wait til spring to get the warm and flowers and birds and butterflies.  You can have them all year round if you choose.  Over the past few days I have wondered around the grid and found a few great places and some really cute spring outfits i would love to share with you and i sure hope you enjoy them.

So in the first pic I wondered around and found an Ice Cream stand and thought I would climb on top of it to ssee what I could see. Good thing I had this cute spring outfit, Her Signs of Spring by BBarbie its is so adorable and came with the slink shoes as well.

Then I went to Just Another Tequila Sunrise in the early evening wearing the sexy mini dress, The Wrap by Chix, which is in with Roosters.  So you have Roosters and Chix owned by Marx Alvord.  He does a great job on all of his clothes.  The hair I am wearing in both of these first two photos is from Argrace.  I have been shopping there for as long as I can remember and their styles never fail.

I traveled back to Just Another Tequila Sunrise for the next picture where i decided to take a break from my travels and take in the spring.  Here I have The Rope shirt on by Delirium Style and it comes with a hud.  Lelutka made the hair ..its called Sage and looks great with all styles of clothing.  As for the jeans dont hate me but for the life of me i can't remember where I got them.  The Skin I am wearing is by Pink Fuel who really has some of the best skins on the grid.

Several years ago I was working with a modeling agency that is no longer in existence and we preformed a wedding gown fashion show *Lurve* owned by Designer Danielle Indigo. Since doing that show we have grown to be really good friends so I decided to Blog on a few of her designs.  

Lately Danielle has either been designing her clothes with most of the appliers for the major mesh bodies such and The Mesh Project and Omega Appliers just to name a couple, and updating others to have the appliers available.  Her clothing is very reasonably priced and always has the wonderful customer service provided by the designer herself.  *Lurve's* clothing line includes Minis, Formals, Mesh, Mens Wear, Wedding dresses, veils, lingerie, bikinis, whatever it takes to make your special day just perfect.

The Church of the One True God

 Today is Easter Sunday, the Holiest of Holy days of the year. On Easter Sunday Christ Arose from the tomb. THIS is the beginning of the end. As I reflect on my time in Second Life, I realize that I haven't done much exploring. I have accomplished a lot of things but most kept me within a certain area or a few certain areas. Today being Easter and unable to attend Church I decided i needed to do some exploring, I didn't have a lot of time so I searched and found a few churches in Second Life that I had no idea existed.

As I reflect on Easter, I remember as a child walking hand in hand with my sister and my mom to church wearing our new pretty frilly Easter Dresses and thinking how special i felt.  As I got older I realized that it wasn't the pretty frilly dresses that we were wearing that made me feel so special, it was that Christ had Died and on Easter Sunday arose from his tomb and is still alive today.  

While churches wont make you a christian, they sometimes help you reflect on your life.  So this being so special I decided lets see what Second Life has out there that can help us reflect.  There are many churches from many denominations represented in our little Grid from Baptist to Catholic, from Church of God to Non-Denominational and so many in between, some I have never even heard of I'm sure.  Some of the churches have services, some don't, some are just for viewing and some are just for weddings.  Today I am going to post a few photos of churches and the links to wthere they are located and the names of them.  I hope you enjoy.
