THE LEXI PROJECT AT TORI STYLEZ

The Lexi Project is coming up starting on the 26th of July. You ask what is the Lexi Project? This is a project to help one of our own Second Lifers, one of the top designers on the Grid. Lexi Zelin the owner of AngelRed Couture was diagnosed with stage 3 Hodgkin's Lymphoma. As we all know medical bills can get way out of hand really fast especially if you have a young family or for that matter any time. There are a lot of designers and builders and makers in Second Life that is getting together to help raise funds at Go Fund Me website to help with the rising cost of her medical bills .... I am not going to say a lot here but I am going to post some of the press release and some websites for you to go to learn more about this project.

Tori's Stylez has donated a special gown, tux and formal shoes all are 50% off during this project. The dress is Rochelle Special Edition Pinkness. It comes with Flexi Addons, Head Piece, Necklace, Earrings and Bracelets as well as 2 versions one regular mesh version and one low cut version with Omega Applier. The Tux is Ian Special Edition Pinkness and Then there is the Bliss Collection Shoes Pinkness V.1 and V.2

The Lexi Project has grown to approximately 350 supporting brands, ranging in a vast number of fields from apparel, decor, full permission, poses, skin, hair and so much more. All of which can and will be found at this event and all on one region. We have received a HUGE response from the grid, many offering helping hands and services showing nothing but pure support to Lexi. We want everyone to know, it is all very much appreciated.

The Lexi Project is scheduled to open its doors on Sunday, July 26th @ midnight slt. Each brand participating will have a minimum of 1-2 new items, 100% of the proceeds from sales go directly to an event account, opened by Lexi Zelin.

If you're interested in how to donate, there are many options available to you. Lexi has started a Gofundme Account page, she is accepting direct Linden donations to her main account and has also made a donation kiosk that can be rezzed inworld. To obtain the donation kiosk, you can join the AngelRed Couture Group and find a copy inside Group Notices. Donation kiosks will also be available to accept lindens at the Lexi Project.

Thanks again so much from the bottom of our hearts, if you wish to share this blog or information it is welcomed and encouraged as we move forward to our opening day. Relay for life as most everyone knows is a specific time of year that is set aside to raise money for cancer research. Relay teams are made in order to have some fun competition to raise these funds . This year the Inspired Dreamwalkers Team has chosen to raise funds for cancer in children focusing on a little girl named Reagan. This week's event is called Reagan's Journey. Reagan lost her battle with this horrible killer in March of this year.

The Inspired Dreamwalkers are relaying for children with cancer focusing on Reagan. When I was asked to be a member of this team at one point we were asked WHY DO YOU RELAY. Unlike so many of you I have not had anyone close to me lose their battle with cancer. However, I do have many close friend that have had to deal with their friends and or family going thru this process.
There really isn't a lot that i can tell most of you about this killer that you don't already know but if you get a chance to visit Reagan's Journey using the link above you wont reqret it .. it will be available for your attendance until July 22nd 2015. V-Twins Bounty Angel

One of my favorite stores is also one of the longest established biker apparel stores in second life.

V-Twins has some of the sexiest and some of the most adorable outfits on the grid and Bounty Angel is no exception. Its a very cute Shorts and Top set and comes in Pink of course but also Lone Wolf, Plain and Patched. If you are familiar with V-Twins you are aware of the different styles they have of each outfit. This particular one is fully *Mesh* and comes in 5 sizes. I am sure you will love the way it looks. It is available on Market Place and their Main Store on the Sinnerville sim.

WHAT IS REAL FRIENDSHIP!!!!

Today I want to focus on what true friendship is to me. You may wonder why I have chosen this topic but I think a lot of people in the world doesn't realize when they have a real friend and just throws it away. I know many years ago I did that and have regretted it ever since.

Friendship have to begin with a mutual life of something, whether it be music or art or activities, or whether it be beliefs and mindsets.

A lot of times we will meet someone a chit chat ever so often and hey that is a friend of mine when in reality this person is really just an acquaintance. A friend is someone you get to know on a deeper side. A person that truly knows who you are and what you feel and why you feel. True friendship is a relationship grows and you both invest in to build this relationship.

In a friendship there must be trust and essential. Just as trust is essential in a friendship so is faithfulness and loyalty. Without this combination there can be no friendship. Otherwise there is detention in the relationship that will begin with lies and backbiting and betrayal.

Real friendship looks into the heart not just the outside of the person. Real friendship loves for the sake of love not because one of the persons involved wants something from the other person. Friendship is challenging no doubt about that but it is also exiting to have someone that you can talk to without being judged. It risks, it overlooks faults, and it loves unconditionally. Friendship at times involves being truthful, even though it may hurt.

You may ask why I chose this subject. What does it have to do with second life because SL is JUST a game. Well, Friendship can evolve from anywhere as long as these attributes are included even online in a game like Second Life because this forum allows for not just to have fun with an Avatar but because this avatar is an extension of the true person that running it.

I guess my first experience with Friendship was my relationship with GOD because he is always there and never leaves me. I hope that I use his example of friendship to show true friendship with my friends. I hope each and everyone that reads this has someone that they can call a TRUE FRIEND. God Bless You

TIME FOR A BIKE RIDE!!!!!!!

Continuing with the biker theme today I came across a new outfit from V-twins and some boots I had not yet seen. The new Explorer Outfit is a cute mini with a jacket that can be wore with or with a white tank top. It also has stalking and leg bands. The stalking also come with the Omega Appliers. This collection is the one of the newest offered by one of the oldest biker apparel store in second life. The Killer Instinct Boots i came across yesterday on market place. I thought I had seen and had most all the boots from this store so i was a little surprised to see these and I absolutely love them. These boots are Slink boots and they come with two versions. First version has the silver accents and the second has the gold accents. There are 5 mesh sizes with right and left boots . I am sure you will love this outfit and these boots. HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA !!!

Today I want to use my blog to say I am PROUD to be an American. I also want to wish this great country a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY. These have been some trying times in the United States. I still believe in the constitution as the way it was written, I believe in our military and everything they have sacrificed for ME. I believe that the bible has a place in this country. I believe that we have the right to bare arms though I do not own one for its my choice.

I have been doing some looking back on what our country was and is and is to come. This country has had some really troubling times but we have remained SOLID. Recently we have seen radical forces try to destroy us but we stood strong. I guess what I am trying to say is no matter what has put upon on us as a nation with the forces of God our Military and our Allies we have been stedfast.

In our country today we have forces from inside our country trying to destroy it. This country was started on the constitution and the Bible. I know a lot of people wont agree the bible has a place in this great nation and you have the right to believe that, just like I have the right as a Christian to believe and stand up for what I believe in. But here lies the issue, forces from inside this great nation is tryin to destroy MY right as a christian. As a Christian I do not try to push my beliefs on anyone i would hope my testimony people would be enough to show that I love people and LOVE MY GOD.

INDEPENDENCE DAY CONTINUED WITH V-TWINS!!!!

Well I missed yesterday posting on USA July 4th outfits. Today I am so excited because one of my all time favorite stores almost since i started Second Life is now using Mesh Body Appliers. They have used the Omega Applier with this awesome outfit. The Denver USA version has this applier and I am loving it. It is a Skirt and Tank top outfit unlike any I have seen so far. Its comes with the regular and the Omega Top as well as regular mesh skirt, one of the skirts comes with an eagle on the front and another plain. I am sure you will absolutely love this July 4th USA outfit.
