CHERYL'S SECONDLIFE
I just celebrated seven years in secondlife and I wanted to look back and see what has kept me in this virtual world.
I signed in to SL on August 11th 2008. My Real Life daughter played at the time along with her ex-boyfriend and they talked me into trying it. Took them awhile but I finally logged in and I do believe after a time they regretted it because I actually really enjoyed it. I had been chatting on websites for a few years and this took the chatting up a notch.

I was shown the places to get the freebies and thought i was looking all good. I was really proud of myself. LOL til I went into a country music club and realized after a few times I really looked bad. I went a store called Alady and got a full avatar . Didn't realize how pale she looked and still thinking I looked good. But this club I was visiting a lot the people in the club didn't care that I was newbie looking they accepted me for who I was.
The Black Stallion became my home for about a year and from this club I got my best friend Riley (whom I have remained friends with even in Real Life) I also got my first sister Babs and my niece Poppychic along with a great nephew Marx Alvord and now his wife Harlee I have remained close to all.

My Life didn't remain in the country music scene it eventually evolved into the Biker scene. A friend took me to a store called V-Twins. I soon became really good friends with the owner; Miley Chapin. Miley took me to my first biker party at Saints of Hell MC . She became my sister and the MC became my family.. starting out as a hostess and then a lil sis to a full fledged patch member.
It wasn't long after I became part of the MC my Real Life son was killed in an auto accident. I turned from my RL because of the pain and my best friend Riley and my new MC family and a few others kept me sane .. it was out of this that I became involved in the modeling scene. My MC sister and brother Jonathan Heiss and Jenna Coppola got me involved in their modeling agency.
It wasn't long after I became part of the MC my Real Life son was killed in an auto accident. I turned from my RL because of the pain and my best friend Riley and my new MC family and a few others kept me sane .. it was out of this that I became involved in the modeling scene. My MC sister and brother Jonathan Heiss and Jenna Coppola got me involved in their modeling agency.
Once I started modeling a lot of things changed for me. I learned fashion and how to really dress myself to look my best no matter what style I used. I even entered some pageants ..some I won and some I lost. One major one was the Miss Sinatra Styles pageant ..that was a tough one. but with support from some of the other contestants and my family and friends I stuck it out and I won. The Miss Vegas Life was one I wont forget because I was encouraged to enter by one of the First Four of the Saints of Hell MC. That one meant a lot to me . Along with entering the pageants I also was allowed the honor of doing some runway, print and store modeling. EMO-tions and Delirium were awesome stores with fantastic owners and staff. When I left these great places i left with a sister and many great friends.
Eventually I got to where I was getting burned out on the modeling scene. so I looked for other things to become involved with so along came the breedables. YES I bread horses and dogs but eventually gave that up too.
So here I was ..looking for somewhere to fit in. Along came Quasar Country Saloon.
This club was the beginning of my NEW Second Life. Though I still remain friends and family with most of the others I met new folks that I would take nothing for ..I LOVE these people they have supported me through some rough times. First my sister/best friend Hae Low, you see one of us you will probably see the other. My sister Gigi and can't forget Aurora Gildandra (Romano now) . CC Manen and Peachie Hold are fantastic and love them to death.
I am telling you if it weren't for these and a few others a few years back I wouldn't be here right now I would have walked out and never come back. It's a shame how some people can hurt others to the point of just saying enough. I would rather leave than to be hurt again. The people I met have meant so much to me at Quasar kept me going. And for that I am thankful.
OK so not only did they do that for me but had been trying my hand at DJing and it was this bunch that kicked my butt in gear and made me realize that i am actually not to bad at this new en devour.

I was goofing around with some photography never figured i was any good ..just took snapshots of family and friends ever so often.. then one day someone else says ..You Know your pretty good you should do it professionally. I actually laughed and thought naw I just play around with it never be as good as some of the awesome photographers I know like Cindy Tathem and Pam Astonia. These two I have known for years ..Cindy since my modeling days and Pam was my MC sister when I first joined SL .

So I started my photography and do pretty good ... a friend got me into doing wedding photography and I thank Leala Spires for her encouragement and friendship. I don't think it had not been for her I wouldn't have come as far as I have. Then Danielle Idigo of *Lurve* along with Tori Silverweb owner of Tori Stylez . I reconnected with her and she helped me with photography and she connected me to the awesome pose maker Kay Weston, Owner of Image Essentials Props and Poses. These three ladies along with my sister Hae Low (who is now not only my sister and best friend but also my Manager for Happy Blossom Photography) .. these ladies have helped reinvent my second life. I have met so many more great people through photography and I am so thankful..I can't leave out Seely Rockefellar and his crew that hired me to do the photo of his properties at Rochefellar Real Estate and Rentals .....
God has blessed me thru these 7 years with so many friends and placed people in my life to greatly enhance my life. for that I give GOD THANKS .... GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME, ALL THE TIME GOD IS GOOD.!!!!!
